Great rosin starts long before the press.

Solventless is not one step. It is a chain of decisions, from the genetics we choose and the phenos we keep to how we wash, press, cure and pack. Every stage is built around the same idea: interfere less, preserve more, and let the cultivar come through with its flavour, aroma, texture and character intact.

Great Solventless Isn’t Made in a Single Step.

It’s the Result of Decisions Made at Every One.

01

Cultivar Curation

Not every cultivar makes the cut. We seek out genetics bred and pheno-hunted for solventless extraction, then test-wash the strongest phenos. Only those that deliver on quality, flavour, aroma and character move forward.

02

Ice Water Extraction

Ice-Cold water. Careful separation.
Fresh-frozen cannabis is gently agitated in ice water, separating the trichome heads from the plant material without chemical solvents. The collected hash is separated by micron size, then freeze-dried in preparation for pressing.

03

90-159µ Select Spec

It’s what gets selected that matters.
For AstroLab Live Rosin, the 90-159µ spectrum is selected for pressing, focusing the final product on these carefully separated trichome heads.

04

Controlled Pressing

Heat. Pressure. Precision.
Selected bubble hash is pressed under carefully controlled heat and pressure to produce Live Rosin. No chemical solvents. No additives.

05

Cold-Cured Over Time

Time is an ingredient.
The Live Rosin is cold-cured for a minimum of 28 days under controlled conditions to develop its intended texture, consistency and final expression.

06

Sealed for Freshness

We don’t spend all that time preserving flavour just to lose it in the jar. Pop-Vac packaging helps keep aroma, texture and cultivar character intact from pack-out to first dab.
